The Yamaha RX-A6A sits high in the AVENTAGE line as a 9.2 channel receiver with 11.2 channel processing, giving it the headroom to build large, layered immersive audio setups. Every channel is rated at 150 watts into 8 ohms at 0.06 percent distortion, and an ESS SABRE ES9026PRO Ultra DAC handles digital conversion for clean, detailed sound across movies and music alike.
The RX-A6A decodes Dolby Atmos, DTS:X and AURO-3D, and its seven HDMI inputs and three outputs support 8K at 60Hz, 4K at 120Hz, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and eARC for the newest displays and game consoles. Yamaha YPAO calibration, here with Precision EQ and 64 bit internal processing, measures the room through the supplied microphone for accurate speaker integration, and a moving magnet phono input keeps a turntable in the system.
MusicCast ties the RX-A6A into a whole home Yamaha ecosystem and brings AirPlay 2, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and streaming services on board. Weighing in at a substantial 18.7 kilograms in a black finish, it delivers the power, connectivity and calibration depth expected of a reference class home theater receiver.
