HiFi Rose RS520 Streaming Integrated Amplifier (New / Open Box)

New open box. The RS520 is HiFi Rose's all-in-one flagship streaming integrated amplifier, combining a high-performance network streamer, reference-grade DAC, and powerful amplifier into a single chassis precision-milled from a solid block of 6000-series aluminum. The four sides of the enclosure are formed as a single continuous part, creating an exceptionally rigid structure that minimizes the micro-vibrations that degrade sound quality in conventional sheet metal chassis designs.

The amplifier section uses HiFi Rose's Class AD GaN FET topology — the same Gallium Nitride FET technology found in the flagship RA180 amplifier — delivering 200 watts per channel into 8 ohms with dead time reduced by one third compared to conventional GaN implementations, maximizing linearity and pushing the design toward the efficiency of Class D while preserving the sonic qualities of Class A/B. Power factor correction keeps the unit running cool and silent with no noise or hum at any output level. Digital conversion is handled by the ESS ES9038PRO flagship Sabre DAC chip, supporting PCM up to 32-bit/768kHz and native DSD512 — the same DAC technology found in the RS150B reference streamer. A five-band parametric equalizer with up to 10dB of boost or cut per band is available for system or room tuning.

The RoseOS streaming platform provides native support for Apple Music, Tidal, Qobuz, Spotify Connect, Bugs, Rose Tube, YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and internet radio, alongside Roon Ready certification, AirPlay, Bluetooth A2DP, and DLNA. A 4K-capable HDMI output enables video streaming directly to a display. Connectivity includes optical, coaxial, HDMI eARC, and USB digital inputs alongside an analog RCA input, with gigabit Ethernet and dual-band Wi-Fi for network connection. The 12.6-inch full-color LCD touchscreen at 1920x515 resolution dominates the front panel, displaying album art, music video playback at 60fps, or custom VU meters, and is controllable via the Rose Connect app for iOS and Android.
