This modern reimagining brings the same sound-first philosophy squarely into the digital age, packing a capable integrated amplifier, high-performance DAC, MM phono stage, headphone amplifier, and aptX Bluetooth receiver into a remarkably compact desktop-friendly chassis.

The Class D power stage delivers 30 watts per channel into 8 ohms via NAD's PowerDrive circuit, which dynamically adjusts between low-impedance current delivery and high dynamic voltage for vanishingly low distortion across real-world speaker loads. A precision soft-clipping circuit and Bass EQ function allow the amp to drive smaller speakers convincingly without risking driver damage. The built-in DAC supports 24-bit/192kHz via its asynchronous USB-B input, with coaxial and optical digital inputs also on board. The MM phono stage features highly accurate RIAA equalization, an Infrasonic Warp Filter, and high overload margins for clean, detailed vinyl playback. AptX Bluetooth handles wireless streaming from mobile devices, and a pre-out allows connection to a separate power amplifier or powered subwoofer. A dedicated headphone output completes a feature set that belies the unit's modest footprint.
