The EverSolo DMP-A6 Master Edition Gen 1 is a network streamer and DAC built around dual ESS Sabre ES9038Q2M converters, one per channel, paired with an XMOS XU316 processor and OPA1612 op-amps. It decodes PCM up to 768kHz and 32-bit and DSD up to DSD512 over its USB-C input, along with full MQA hardware decoding, and it adds the low jitter clocking and refined analog stage that separate the Master Edition from the standard DMP-A6.
Connectivity is comprehensive. Digital inputs include USB-C, coaxial, and optical, while outputs cover balanced XLR at 5.2V, unbalanced RCA at 2.6V, coaxial and optical digital out, a USB audio output, and an HDMI audio output for multichannel material. Both analog outputs can run at fixed level or as a variable preamp output with volume control, so the unit can drive a power amplifier or active speakers directly. There is no headphone output, subwoofer output, or 12V trigger.
Streaming runs on EverSolo's Android based operating system with a 6 inch color touchscreen, dual-band Wi-Fi, and gigabit Ethernet. It is Roon Ready and supports AirPlay, DLNA, Tidal, Qobuz, Amazon Music, HighResAudio, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, and Qobuz Connect, plus Bluetooth 5.0 with LDAC and aptX HD. The aluminum chassis measures roughly 3.5 by 10.6 by 7.4 inches and weighs about 4.7 kg, backed by a one year EverSolo warranty.
