Treepod Phantom Ultimate 108dB

Overview

The Devialet Treepod is a dedicated tripod floor stand engineered for the Phantom Ultimate 108dB wireless speaker. It is an accessory, not a speaker, and it makes no sound on its own. Its purpose is to cradle the 108dB Phantom securely and raise it to proper listening height, where the acoustic performance of the speaker is best realized in an open room.

Built around a stable three-leg design, the Treepod distributes the considerable mass of the Phantom Ultimate 108dB across a wide footprint for confident, tip resistant support. The stand is sized specifically for the 108dB Phantom class, so the mounting interface, cable routing and overall proportions are tailored to that model rather than a universal fit. This keeps the installation clean and the speaker precisely positioned.

The Treepod is ideal for listeners who want to place a single Phantom Ultimate 108dB, or a stereo pair, freely in a living space without wall mounting or relying on furniture. It suits open floor plans, corners and dedicated listening rooms where flexible placement and correct ear-level height matter.

How the Treepod 108dB Compares

Devialet Treepod for Phantom 108dB vs Devialet Tree Phantom Ultimate 108dB

Both accessories elevate the same Phantom Ultimate 108dB to listening height. The Treepod uses a wide three-leg tripod base for a lighter visual footprint and flexible placement, while the Tree is a single-column floor stand with a more minimal, sculptural profile. Choose the Treepod when broad stability and an airy stance suit the room, and the Tree when a slim pedestal look is preferred. See the Devialet Tree Phantom Ultimate 108dB.

Devialet Treepod for Phantom 108dB vs Devialet Gecko Phantom Ultimate 108dB

The Gecko is a wall mount for the Phantom Ultimate 108dB, while the Treepod is a freestanding tripod floor stand. The Gecko is the choice when you want to anchor the Phantom to a wall and save floor space, whereas the Treepod suits open placement away from walls at ear level. Both are sized for the same 108dB Phantom. See the Devialet Gecko Phantom Ultimate 108dB.

Devialet Treepod for Phantom 108dB vs IsoAcoustics GAIA II Isolation Feet

These serve very different roles: the GAIA II are isolation feet that decouple a passive loudspeaker or stand from the floor, while the Treepod is a complete tripod stand made specifically to hold a Phantom Ultimate 108dB. Reach for the Treepod when you need to position that Phantom at height, and consider isolation feet as a vibration-control accessory for other speakers or stands. See the IsoAcoustics GAIA II Isolation Feet.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Devialet Treepod?
It is a tripod floor stand designed to hold the Phantom Ultimate 108dB wireless speaker and position it at listening height. It is an accessory and produces no sound on its own.

Which Phantom does the Treepod fit?
It is sized specifically for the Phantom Ultimate 108dB (Phantom I class).

Will the Treepod fit the Phantom Ultimate 98dB?
No. This Treepod is made for the 108dB Phantom class. There is a separate stand sized for the 98dB Phantom.

Does the Treepod make any sound?
No. It is a passive stand that holds the speaker. All sound comes from the Phantom itself.

Does the Treepod include a Phantom speaker?
No. The Treepod is an accessory only. You purchase the Phantom Ultimate 108dB separately.

Why put a Phantom on a Treepod?
Elevating the Phantom to seated ear level improves imaging and lets the speaker perform in an open room without relying on furniture or a wall.

Is the Treepod stable enough for the 108dB Phantom?
Yes. The three-leg tripod base creates a wide footprint that distributes the Phantom's mass for confident, tip resistant support.

How is the Treepod different from the Tree?
Both raise the same Phantom to listening height. The Treepod uses a three-leg tripod base, while the Tree is a single-column floor stand with a slimmer, pedestal-style profile.

How is the Treepod different from the Gecko?
The Gecko is a wall mount, while the Treepod is a freestanding floor stand. Choose the Gecko to anchor the Phantom to a wall and the Treepod for open placement.

Can I use one Treepod for a stereo pair?
Each Treepod holds one Phantom. For a stereo pair you would use two stands, one per speaker.

Does the Phantom need a separate amplifier when used on the Treepod?
No. The Phantom is a fully active wireless speaker with built-in amplification, DAC and streaming. The Treepod simply holds it.

Does the Treepod affect how the Phantom streams?
No. Streaming over Wi-Fi, AirPlay 2, Spotify Connect, Roon Ready, UPnP and Bluetooth is handled entirely by the Phantom, not the stand.

Does the Treepod require assembly?
Yes. The stand ships with mounting hardware and instructions so you can assemble it and attach the Phantom Ultimate 108dB.

Can I move the Phantom easily once it is on the Treepod?
The tripod design lets you position the assembled speaker and stand where you like, then relocate it as needed within the room.

Is the Treepod a good choice for open floor plans?
Yes. It is ideal for open spaces, corners and dedicated listening rooms where you want flexible placement at correct ear height.

Can I wall mount the Phantom instead?
Yes. If you prefer wall mounting, the Gecko for the Phantom Ultimate 108dB is the accessory designed for that.

Does the Treepod work with speakers from other brands?
No. It is engineered specifically for the Devialet Phantom Ultimate 108dB and its dedicated mounting interface.
