Mission 750 – Modern Bookshelf Loudspeaker with Classic Flair
The Mission 750 elegantly blends iconic Mission aesthetics with contemporary acoustic performance in a compact bookshelf design. Drawing inspiration from the beloved 700 and 770 series, these speakers offer time-aligned sound, refined tonal accuracy, and beautifully crafted real-wood veneers—ideal for both small rooms and discerning audiophiles.
Key Features & Acoustic Design
Inverted Driver Geometry (IDG) – The tweeter is mounted below the mid/bass driver, perfectly aligning acoustic centers to improve stereo imaging and phase coherence.
Custom Drivers & Motor System – Features a newly designed 5.25″ mineral-loaded polypropylene mid/bass driver with a die-cast chassis and nitrile surround for precise, dynamic bass; paired with a 1.25″ microfibre soft-dome tweeter housed in a damped rear chamber for smooth, extended highs.
Refined Enclosure Construction – Compact yet robust cabinet measuring 355 × 216 × 270 mm, built with multi-layer sandwich construction, internal bracing, acoustic damping adhesive, and foam and fiber lining to reduce resonance.
Rear Reflex Ports – Custom-profiled and flared to maximize bass extension beyond expectations for a cabinet of this size while minimizing port noise and distortion.
Visual Aesthetics – Available in rich Walnut or Black Oak with a signature white front baffle and Mission logo, offering a classic visual appeal that complements the modern sound.
Performance Highlights
Bold Bass Response – Surprisingly powerful and tight bass from a compact form factor, thanks to the high-rigidity cone design.
Natural Midrange Clarity – Delivers clear, warm, and natural vocals and instrumentation, ideal for a wide range of musical genres.
Smooth High Frequencies – Damped tweeter design ensures crisp and detailed highs without harshness or fatigue.
Balanced and Detailed Sound – The carefully tuned crossover (≈2.4 kHz) creates seamless transitions between drivers for coherent soundstage and tonal integrity.
