The Shared SourcePoint Design
Every SourcePoint model is built around a concentric point-source driver. A soft dome tweeter sits at the acoustic center of the mid-bass cone, so the high and low frequencies radiate from the same point in space. The result is a coherent wavefront, precise imaging and wide, even dispersion that stays consistent as you move around the room or off the main listening seat. This is the heart of Andrew Jones' design philosophy and it carries across the entire lineup, which is exactly why the bookshelves, floorstanders and center channels timbre match so naturally.
One important note that applies to the whole range: these are passive loudspeakers. MoFi does not make amplifiers or receivers, so every SourcePoint speaker needs a separate amplifier from another brand we carry. These speakers scale beautifully with clean, high quality amplification, so pairing them with a premium amplifier is entirely appropriate and rewarded.
The Bookshelf Models
MoFi SourcePoint 8
The MoFi SourcePoint 8 is a two-way passive stand-mount built around an 8 inch concentric point-source driver with a 1.25 inch soft dome tweeter at its center. It offers a sensitivity of 87dB, an 8 ohm nominal impedance dropping to 6.4 ohm minimum, and low frequency extension to 47Hz from a rear-ported enclosure in real wood veneer. This is a compact, room-friendly way into the SourcePoint sound, well suited to small and medium rooms and near-field or desktop-adjacent listening where a full point source matters more than deep bass reach.
MoFi SourcePoint 10 Master Edition
The MoFi SourcePoint 10 Master Edition steps up to a larger 10 inch concentric driver and adds a Master Edition upgraded crossover with premium components. It carries a higher 91dB sensitivity, a true 8 ohm nominal impedance with a 6.4 ohm minimum near 150Hz, and lower extension to 42Hz. Within the SourcePoint bookshelf tier, the larger driver and refined crossover give it more scale and an easier load to drive, making it a strong choice for a medium to larger room or for a listener who wants the fullest expression of the stand-mount concept. On proper stands it behaves like a serious main speaker rather than a compact one.
The Floorstanding Models
MoFi SourcePoint 888
The MoFi SourcePoint 888 is a three-way floorstander that pairs a concentric driver, an 8 inch paper-cone midrange with the 1.25 inch soft dome tweeter at its center, with two dedicated 8 inch woofers. It reaches from 32Hz to 30kHz, with 87dB sensitivity, a 6 ohm nominal impedance and a 4.5 ohm minimum from a rear-ported cabinet. Dedicating the woofers to bass lets the concentric driver focus on the midrange and treble, so you get the point-source coherence with genuine full-range weight and a large, room-filling sound.
MoFi SourcePoint V10 Master Edition
The MoFi SourcePoint V10 Master Edition is a floorstanding design built around the 10 inch Andrew Jones concentric point-source driver with dedicated woofers, finished in real wood veneer and voiced with a Master Edition crossover. It brings the larger 10 inch concentric driver into a full floorstanding format, positioning it as the reference expression of the SourcePoint idea for a dedicated listening room. If your priority is the most complete and refined SourcePoint experience in a floorstander, this is the model to hear.
The Center Channels
For home theater and multichannel music, MoFi offers two horizontal center channels that carry the same concentric point-source design so dialogue and pans blend seamlessly with the front speakers.
MoFi SourcePoint 8 Center
The MoFi SourcePoint 8 Center uses an Andrew Jones concentric driver in a horizontal cabinet, presents an 8 ohm nominal impedance, and is timbre matched to the SourcePoint 8 and 10 stereo speakers. It is the natural center for a system built around the SourcePoint 8 bookshelves.
MoFi SourcePoint 10 Center
The MoFi SourcePoint 10 Center steps up to a 10 inch concentric driver and a Master Edition crossover in a horizontal cabinet, with an 8 ohm nominal impedance, timbre matched to the SourcePoint 10. It is the appropriate partner for a larger system anchored by the SourcePoint 10 or V10.
Both center channels are passive and need a dedicated amplifier channel, whether from a separate amplifier or an AV receiver.

Small to medium room, two-channel, space conscious
Start with the SourcePoint 8 on quality stands. It delivers the concentric point-source imaging in a footprint that suits tighter spaces.
Medium to larger room, want the fullest stand-mount experience
Choose the SourcePoint 10 Master Edition. The larger driver, higher sensitivity and Master Edition crossover give it scale and an easy drive without needing a floorstander's footprint.

A Word on Amplification
Because MoFi does not build amplifiers, plan for a separate amplifier from another brand we carry. The SourcePoint speakers reward clean power and control, and the floorstanders and the larger 10 inch models in particular scale with better amplification.
