At the reference level, the preamplifier becomes the single most influential component in the chain. Here the goal is to control gain and volume while adding as little of its own signature as possible, so the full detail, dynamics, and spatial cues of the recording reach your power amplifier intact. The engineering that makes this possible, from precision attenuators to fully balanced circuits, is where these units earn their place.
This band suits the listener assembling a true high end system and matching a flagship preamplifier to equally capable amplification and speakers. These are long term anchors, built to reveal every improvement you make elsewhere and to stay with you for many years of listening.
