The Marten Oscar Duo is a compact two way standmount loudspeaker handcrafted in Sweden by a company Leif Marten Olofsson founded in 1998. It pairs a 1 inch ceramic dome tweeter with a single 7 inch ceramic cone mid woofer in a sealed 25 mm fibreboard cabinet, a rigid, low resonance enclosure that lets the stiff ceramic diaphragms deliver clarity and low coloration.
A simple second order crossover at 2,500 Hz keeps the signal path clean, while WBT NextGen terminals and Jorma internal wiring carry Marten's reference lineage into the entry point of the range. Rated at 86 dB sensitivity with a 6 ohm nominal impedance that dips to 3.1 ohms, the Oscar Duo rewards a capable amplifier of up to 150 watts.
With a frequency response of 37 Hz to 20 kHz within a 3 dB window, the Oscar Duo offers surprising bass reach and full range musicality from a cabinet measuring just 40 cm tall. Offered in Matte Walnut, Piano Black, and Piano White, it brings genuine high end ceramic driver performance to smaller rooms and near field listening.
