The Onkyo A‑50 is a high-performance network integrated amplifier offering powerful amplification, modern streaming features, versatile input support (including MM/MC phono), and refined build quality. It combines modern tech with thoughtful engineering to serve both analog and digital setups.

 Key Power & Sound Features

• Symmetrical Class AB amplifier with a three‑stage Inverted Darlington output stage for high-current delivery with low distortion. 

• Rated 140W per channel into 8 ohms, and 180W per channel into 4 ohms, giving strong performance with both easy and more demanding speakers. 

• DIDRC (Dynamic Intermodulation Distortion Reduction Circuitry) reduces noise and distortion especially in the analog/digital crossovers and high‑frequency band. 

 Connectivity & Inputs

• Built‑in phono stage with support for Moving Magnet (MM) and Moving Coil (MC) cartridges, enabling direct connection of turntables. 

• HDMI ARC input for easier TV integration. 

• Multiple analog inputs: at least 3 pairs RCA for line‑level sources. Digital inputs include USB (for high‑res audio), optical, and coaxial connections. 

 Streaming & Extra Features

• Network streaming via WiFi, support for AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Roon Ready, plus services like Spotify Connect, TIDAL Connect, etc. 

• Room calibration via Dirac Live (limited version initially, with option for full bandwidth) to help tailor sound to the room’s acoustics. Fan‑less design with thick 5mm aluminum front panel, an extruded aluminum heat sink to suppress vibration, and internal construction that emphasizes stability.
