The Marten Parker Quintet is the flagship of the Parker range, a large 2.5 way floorstander that arrays four 7.5 inch ceramic bass and midrange drivers beneath a 1 inch pure ceramic tweeter. Its 35 mm M-board cabinet is loaded by four 9 inch aluminium rear firing passive radiators, giving deep, powerful bass extension down to 24 Hz.
Marten's multi diverse order crossover, centered at 2,200 Hz, ties the drivers together, while WBT NextGen terminals and Jorma internal wiring keep the signal path transparent. The large driver complement lifts sensitivity to 93 dB, and the nominal impedance is a lower 4 ohms with a 2.7 ohm minimum, so the Quintet pairs best with a confident, current capable amplifier of up to 350 watts. The tweeter is upgradable to the Diamond version.
Reaching from 24 Hz to 40 kHz within a 2 dB window and weighing 60 kg each, the Parker Quintet is built for larger rooms and demanding, full scale music. It is available in Piano Walnut, Matte Walnut, Piano Black, and Piano White.
