The Marten Dexter Trio takes the two way voicing of the Dexter Duo and stands it on the floor. The same 1 inch Marten pure diamond tweeter crosses at 2,000 Hz, now to a pair of 7.5 inch ceramic drivers running in a 2.5 way arrangement, so the lower driver adds reinforcement underneath without splitting the midband a second time.
Behind the machined carbon fibre faceplate sits Marten's M-Core triple layer cabinet, and bass is loaded by the Loaded Reflex Line: a shaped internal channel that combines reflex and transmission line behaviour and exits through a wide slotted port at the base. The cabinet stands on a mirror polished stainless steel plinth fitted with Marten Isolators, included as part of the speaker.
Response runs from 25 Hz to 45,000 Hz within 2 dB, sensitivity is a generous 91 dB, and the 6 ohm nominal load bottoms out at 3.6 ohms, which keeps the Trio friendly to a wide range of amplifiers. Jorma Duality wiring is standard, and the Statement Edition fits Jorma Statement throughout along with Marten's highest grade crossover components.
