The Marten Dexter Quintet is the flagship of the Dexter series and the only one with two bass drivers. A 1 inch Marten pure diamond tweeter and a 3.5 inch ceramic midrange sit behind a machined carbon fibre faceplate, crossing at 4,000 Hz, while a pair of 9.5 inch Marten carbon fibre woofers take over below 500 Hz with twice the radiating area of the Quartet.
The M-Core triple layer cabinet is the stiffest in the range, and the Loaded Reflex Line carries bass through a shaped internal channel to a wide slotted port firing down into a mirror polished stainless steel plinth. Marten Isolators are fitted under that plinth as standard, decoupling 80 kg of loudspeaker from the floor beneath it.
Bass extends to 21 Hz and treble to 45,000 Hz inside a 2 dB window, sensitivity is 91 dB, and the 6 ohm nominal load stays above 3.8 ohms. Jorma Duality wiring comes as standard. The Statement Edition rewires the speaker with Jorma Statement and fits Marten's highest grade crossover components throughout.
