The Marten Dexter Duo is the standmount in Marten's Dexter series, and it inherits the pure diamond tweeter developed for the Coltrane Supreme Extreme project. That 1 inch diamond dome crosses at 2,000 Hz to a single 7.5 inch Marten ceramic driver, a two way layout chosen so the midrange never passes through a crossover point where the ear is most sensitive.
The cabinet is Marten's M-Core triple layer construction, faced with a machined carbon fibre laminate plate that anchors the drivers to a far stiffer surface than wood alone. Bass is handled by the Loaded Reflex Line, a shaped internal channel that borrows from both reflex and transmission line thinking and vents through a wide slotted port firing down toward the floor.
It reaches 35 Hz at the bottom and 45,000 Hz at the top within a 2 dB window, with 88 dB sensitivity and a 6 ohm nominal load that dips to 3.6 ohms. Jorma Duality wiring is fitted as standard. The Statement Edition rewires the speaker with Jorma Statement and upgrades the crossover to Marten's highest grade components. Choose it with or without the matching matte black stands, which carry mirror polished Marten Isolators.
