Description

The Cambridge Audio CXN100 is a dedicated network music streamer built around an ESS ES9028Q2M DAC that decodes PCM up to 768kHz and 32-bit, DSD up to DSD512, and MQA natively. It runs Cambridge Audio's fourth generation StreamMagic platform, so a single box brings Roon Ready playback, AirPlay 2, Chromecast, Spotify Connect, Tidal Connect, Qobuz, and internet radio to a traditional hi-fi system over dual-band Wi-Fi or wired Ethernet.

Because it is a source rather than an amplifier, the CXN100 offers digital inputs and both unbalanced RCA and balanced XLR analog outputs, with a variable output preamp mode that lets it drive a power amplifier directly. A large high resolution color display shows album art and track detail, and the StreamMagic app adds a 7-band EQ. It is finished in Lunar Grey and backed by a two year warranty.
