Most pull quotes in audio advertising are superlatives. This one is a reviewer admitting he had disliked every other product in the category, which is a far more useful thing to read.

"The first power conditioner I haven’t hated." Alex Halberstadt, Stereophile.
The scepticism behind that line is well earned. Conventional power conditioning often limits current delivery, and an amplifier starved of current on transients sounds flat in a way that is easy to blame on the rest of the system. The Niagara design addresses that directly, which is what the Low-Z Power label on the front panel refers to.
The front panel also carries an Extreme Voltage indicator, part of the unit’s protection behaviour rather than its filtering.
