The Wharfedale Aura 2 is one of those rare standmount loudspeakers that refuses to make you feel like you are settling for something smaller. The practical result is a high frequency response that is fast, detailed and open, with a natural sense of air around instruments and voices.
Because the Aura 2 is a true 3 way rather than a 2 way, the midrange gets its own dedicated attention. That means the vocal band and the presence region are handled without asking a single driver to cover too wide a range. The 6.5 inch bass foundation gives the speaker real weight and body, so the sound is balanced from top to bottom rather than tipped toward brightness.
