A phono preamplifier is the heart of any vinyl system, taking the tiny, delicate signal from your cartridge and turning it into clean, properly balanced music for the rest of your gear. The right one lowers the noise floor, sharpens the dynamics, and lets the character of your turntable and cartridge come through intact.
Across every budget we favor stages from brands we know and support, with Accuphase, Luxman, and Parasound leading the way. From a first dedicated stage to a cost no object reference piece, there is a phono preamplifier here matched to your cartridge, your system, and the way you like to listen.
Parasound XRM
The Parasound XRM is our best first step, a refined, affordable stage that handles both moving magnet and moving coil cartridges and brings real high end character to a growing system. It is the ideal entry point for anyone moving beyond a receiver's built in circuit who wants room to improve their turntable later.
