The ad shows a pair of copper-barrelled ZERO-Tech interconnects, invites you to assume they are the flagship, and then tells you they are not. "Gotcha!" is the last word on the page.

Look closely.
Gotcha!
The point behind the joke is real. Black Beauty carries the same RF draining copper-plated barrels and the same ZERO-Tech approach as models well above it, which is why it looks the part. ZERO-Tech addresses characteristic impedance mismatch rather than simply using more expensive metal, so the benefit arrives lower down the range than it would if the flagship advantage were purely material cost.
The ZERO-Tech analog interconnects we carry:
- AudioQuest Black Beauty RCA
- AudioQuest Black Beauty XLR
- AudioQuest Pegasus RCA
- AudioQuest Pegasus XLR
