AudioQuest names its top tier after mythical creatures that fly. This ad points out, with some delight, that two of its horses qualify.
From the advertisement
You might have noticed that the top tier of AQ cables are all Mythical Creatures that fly: ThunderBird, FireBird, and Dragon.
Well, Mythical Horse Pegasus also flies. Please take a pair for a test flight.
And Black Beauty flies, too — flying-on-the-ground is right!
Underneath the wordplay these are the two models that bring ZERO-Tech geometry and copper-plated barrels into reach for a system that is not built around a flagship. Both are offered as RCA and XLR, and Pegasus sits a clear step above Black Beauty rather than beside it.
Both models from the ad, in both terminations:
- AudioQuest Black Beauty RCA
- AudioQuest Black Beauty XLR
- AudioQuest Pegasus RCA
- AudioQuest Pegasus XLR
