Likewise, home theater technologies such as CINEMA DSP and YPAO belong to the RX-A Aventage receivers. The 5000 Series is focused on doing one thing at the highest level: reproducing stereo music.

Its Floating and Balanced Power Amplifier topology and damping factor of 250 (1 kHz, 8 ohms) speak to firm control over demanding loudspeakers. It accepts balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs and drives speakers through its output terminals. At 25.9 kg it is the heavier of the two, as you would expect from a power amplifier.
