It is built on the Black platform but offers enhanced channel separation over the standard 2M Black, with a stated frequency range of 20Hz to 20kHz and a tracking force of 1.5g. Verso and Premounted Versions
Each 2M model in this guide is also offered in two additional forms. The Verso version is reverse oriented, meaning the cartridge body is arranged for tonearms and headshells where that orientation is convenient. It is electrically identical to the standard version, so it sounds the same and needs the same MM phono input. The Premounted version arrives factory mounted on a headshell, which simplifies installation for tonearms that accept a detachable headshell. Choosing standard, Verso or Premounted is about physical fit and convenience, not about sound quality, since these variations do not change the cartridge's audio performance.
