Instead of the silicon FETs used in a conventional Class D output stage, ROSE switches with gallium nitride (GaN) FETs, which cuts dead time to roughly a tenth of the usual figure and keeps the output linear. Two completely separate amplifier modules run as monoblocks, each rated 250 watts into 8 ohms and 250 watts into 4 ohms, fed by a 500 watt switching supply that uses silicon carbide FETs and a 2.5 kW power factor correction circuit.\u003c\/p\u003e\u003cp\u003eConnections are all analog: one balanced XLR pair, three line level RCA inputs, a moving magnet phono input selected by a front switch, a mono subwoofer output and 12 volt triggers. The front panel carries illuminated analog level meters with a three level dimmer, bypassable bass and treble controls with 15 dB of adjustment, and a motorized volume knob that tracks the remote and
